The short version
SchoolDone reads school emails and screenshots you send it and turns them into calendar items. Use it for that. Don't misuse it, don't rely on it for anything safety-critical without checking the original message, and treat other people's information (like a classmate's name in a screenshot) with the same care you'd want for your own child's.

Using the service
- You need to be an adult (18+) to create an account. SchoolDone accounts are for parents and guardians - your child never signs in or has their own account.
- You're responsible for keeping your login details secure, and for anything sent from your account.
- Only forward or upload messages you have a right to share - typically school communications sent to you as a parent.
- Don't use SchoolDone to process anyone else's personal data without a proper basis for doing so, or to send us anything illegal, abusive, or knowingly false.
- Don't try to disrupt the service, access another family's data, or reverse-engineer how the AI extraction works.
About the AI, and its limits
The dates, deadlines, and to-dos SchoolDone shows you are extracted automatically by AI from whatever you send us. It's usually right, but it can occasionally miss something, misread a date, or get a detail wrong - especially from a blurry screenshot or an unusually worded email. Every item links back to its original message so you can double-check anything that matters. Please don't rely on SchoolDone alone for anything time-critical (a permission deadline, a payment due date) without a quick check against the source.
Your data
What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is covered in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: your family's data is yours, we don't sell it, and you can delete everything permanently at any time from Settings.
Cost
SchoolDone is currently free to use while in early testing. If we introduce or resume a paid plan, we'll tell you clearly before anything is charged, and a subscription (when one exists) can be cancelled at any time from Settings.
Availability and changes
SchoolDone is under active development. Features, pricing, and these terms may change as it evolves, and we can't guarantee the service will always be available without interruption. We'll do our best to give notice of any change that meaningfully affects you.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings - this removes everything immediately and permanently. We may suspend or close an account that misuses the service (for example, sending abusive content or attempting to access another family's data).
Limitation of liability
SchoolDone is provided "as is," without warranty that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for losses arising from missed, delayed, or inaccurate information SchoolDone extracts or fails to extract - this is why every item links back to its original source for you to verify. Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that can't legally be limited, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
